Project
Pavanraje BMS explored how operational processes could be simplified and digitised for institutions managing large teams and distributed operations.
The focus was not on adding complexity, but on creating workflows that felt intuitive, practical and easy to adopt.
Understanding
Many day-to-day operational activities relied on manual processes, resulting in delays, inconsistencies and additional administrative effort.
While digital solutions existed, adoption remained low because many systems felt difficult to learn and maintain.
Approach
The approach centred around simplifying operational workflows rather than increasing feature complexity.
Every interaction needed to be intuitive, accessible and optimised for mobile-first usage.
Execution
Core operational workflows including attendance, task management and expense tracking were redesigned to reduce friction and improve usability.
The experience was designed around existing behaviours and operational realities, enabling smoother adoption across teams.
Contribution
The work involved understanding operational challenges, simplifying user journeys and shaping a system that aligned with existing workflows.
This included research, experience design, stakeholder coordination and continuous validation throughout implementation.
Outcome
• Reduced operational dependency on manual processes
• Increased adoption through simplified user experiences
• Improved efficiency across routine operations
• Scalable system for multiple institutions
